Federal government moves to halt oil pipeline construction near Standing Rock Sioux tribal land – The Washington Post

This is a great move by the federal government.

In an unusual joint statement from the Departments of Justice, Army and Interior, the government said that the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe had raised important questions about tribal lands and treaties in connection with the pipeline issue.
